Medtel Welcomes Dr. Kevin Most as Senior Advisor, Bringing Decades of Leadership in Healthcare Excellence

[Old Greenwich, CT] — Medtel, a leading healthcare technology company specializing in surgical care coordination, is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Kevin Most as Senior Advisor. With over three decades of healthcare leadership experience, Dr. Most’s expertise will advance Medtel’s mission to deliver innovative solutions that benefit providers and patients alike.

Dr. Most served as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital (NMCDH) for 17 years, a tenure marked by transformative achievements in patient safety, quality outcomes, and operational excellence. Under his leadership, NMCDH became one of fewer than 20 hospitals nationwide to maintain a consistent “A” rating from Leapfrog since the program’s inception. His implementation of high-reliability principles led to a 97% reduction in severe harm events, setting a national benchmark for patient safety.

Dr. Most also played a pivotal role in major organizational initiatives, including the implementation of Epic EMR and the seamless transition to a new bed tower with no impact on quality or financial outcomes. Beyond these operational successes, he fostered collaborations like a partnership with Lurie Children’s Hospital, ensuring access to world-class pediatric care in the western Chicago suburbs. “Dr. Most’s unparalleled experience and dedication to quality care make him a tremendous asset to Medtel,” said Harold Mondschein, CEO of Medtel. “His leadership will help us continue to deliver innovative solutions that empower providers to deliver exceptional care to their patients.”

“I am thrilled to join Medtel as Senior Advisor. This organization is at the forefront of improving surgical care coordination, and I believe in its mission to enhance connectivity between providers and patients for better outcomes.”
