Improve surgical outcomes, profitability, and physician loyalty through connected teams, actionable data, and embedded clinical and financial guidelines.
Despite significant investments in EHR platforms, surgical care remains disjointed and relies on manual and inefficient processes to organize care between key stakeholders, and the data to support decision-making is often inaccessible.
The limited access to essential information across teams results in suboptimal patient outcomes, preventable cancellations, lost revenue, and higher costs of care.
Administrators have limited access to the data they need to proactively manage their business. Current systems lack the functionality to connect teams to coordinate care and manage their clinical and financial risk. This contributes to increased strain on the care team, off-contract implant and product utilization, and supply creep from vendors. These factors result in cancellations and delays, increased costs, and suboptimal clinical outcomes.
Our dashboards provide you with access to the data you need before surgery to make informed decisions that affect the financial, clinical, and operational health of your organization.
Care coordination functions align communication across teams, eliminate redundant tasks, and provide guided workflows to ensure cases go on time. SurgiScript improves operational efficiency and increases surgical volume by up to 20%.
Our implant and product selection tools enable you to make proactive decisions to support your organization’s clinical and contractual guidelines resulting in sustained supply chain savings of 20%.
Medtel has mainstreamed our scheduling process at the hospital, cut scheduling errors down almost 90%. It is an all-in-one platform, from scheduling, to collection of paperwork, to collection of data/metrics. Once a case is booked by the surgeon, multiple departments are notified. This gives us all visibility to properly plan for a patient’s surgery.

Tens of thousands of surgeries are canceled in the U.S every year, rooted in poor planning and siloed surgical team coordination. The surgical scheduling process is largely manual, so surgeons are often limited to working with a specific scheduler due to work variability across the team. This results in lost revenue for the surgeon and the OR facility and frustrations among team members.
SurgiScript’s surgical care coordination tool gives you the confidence that your case will go on time with everything necessary for your procedure.
Every scheduler becomes your best scheduler by automating tasks and providing individuals with the surgical details they need.
Surgical cases are created faster, key stakeholders are involved, and information is available to the necessary people when needed.
Medtel automates the workflow from my office to the hospital. My cases are seamlessly scheduled with implant requests and supplies, and vendors areautomatically notified, if required. It’s had a valuable influence on my office staff, patients, and me.

Nurses are on the frontline of care delivery and bare the bulk of responsibility for ensuring cases are able to go despite the last-minute challenges. They lack access to information they need when they need it, forcing them to rely on their experiences and knowledge to coordinate the necessary case details. Organizations become dependent on their best nurses because their knowledge is not able to be replicated across the team.
Visibility to surgical details accelerates your ability to properly prepare the patient, equipment, and room so cases go seamlessly.
Automated workflows and real-time status updates provide you with the confidence that the case has been fully prepared well in advance of the procedure.
Access to the required clinical documentation reduces your need to track down surgeons at the last minute for signatures.
Medtel has been instrumental in streamlining our surgical scheduling process. Our organization is growing and increasing the breadth of our service lines, necessitating a higher level of connectedness and throughput. Medtel has reduced the number of missing documentation components by more than half thereby reducing cancellations and delays!!

Managing a surgical case is difficult and disjointed. Individuals managing the process do not have access to information they need when needed, and communication is constrained between key stakeholders. This leads to unnecessary administrative burden and missteps caused by organizational silos.
SurgiScript guides workflows and consolidates critical information for all stakeholders organizing a surgical case, leading to fewer cancellations and delays.
Automated workflows accelerate your ability to coordinate cases. Notifications inform you of completed or pending tasks. This eliminates the back-and-forth communication that bogs down productivity.
Dashboards provide a status update for all cases and help you ensure that preparations are completed well in advance. You have real-time status visibility to all pending cases, so you can take appropriate action.
Medtel has made our whole scheduling and prior authorization quicker and so much easier. Everyone involved can see the same thing once the case gets scheduled. We absolutely love the Medtel system.

The buildup towards surgery is stressful enough as it is, without unnecessary delays compounding patient anxiety. Patients often receive little information about their case or what is required of them, let alone what they need to know about pre- and post-op care, coordinating transportation to various facilities, and more. When cases are delayed or canceled, the burden for the patient and caregiver only heightens.
Our care coordination tool ensures that the details throughout the care process are managed prior to surgery. This means you will encounter fewer delays or cancellations and better outcomes.
Teams notify you of any testing, insurance, or clinical requirements early in the process so you can manage these demands far in advance of surgery.
Our decision-support tools utilize the facility’s clinical guidelines to help you manage your risks, leading to better outcomes.
I went into surgery worried about so many things - bad outcomes, delays, poor communication but that was not my experience at all. My knee replacement outcome was everything that I could have hoped for - the communication was great, and everything went perfectly according to schedule. I have recommended Dr. Marwin and NYU to many people and will continue to do so.

SurgiScript guides the workflow and consolidates the critical information for all stakeholders involved in organizing surgery, leading to fewer cancellations and delays.
Automated workflows accelerate schedulers' ability to coordinate cases. Notifications inform them of completed or pending tasks, which eliminate the back-and-forth communication that bogs down productivity.
